Introduction to Hat Making WITH DAVINA LYNCH - MAKE YOUR FIRST COUTURE HAT!
Learn how to create a couture hat with little or no previous experience. Davina teaches the basics of hat making including how to use various millinery tools such as blocks, techniques such as stitching, blocking, wiring, sizing, stiffening and how to finish a sinamay hat (the most popular hat making material!).
You will create and keep hat using our milliner techniques. Learn step-by-step how to design your hats, discover what tools and materials are required and the techniques for finishing. We provide a wide selection of quality milliner materials for this course.

How much will the Course Cost?
The introduction to Hat Making is just €300* for our three day workshop - based in our dedicated class studios at our premises in Wellington Quay, Dublin City Centre. Use of tools, equipment and light refreshments are also included.
* Materials are extra but the cost is minimal (approximately €50)
