HANDMADE BEAD MAKING AND DICHROIC GLASS PENDANT MAKING
We are delighted to introduce these highly sought after bead and pendant making techniques to Ireland! We will be running these specialist techniques at our new workshop in Kilternan.
Making Handmade Lampwork Glass beads
Have you ever wanted that special bead that you just couldn't find? Maybe to match it to an outfit or just have beads that are totally unique and exactly what you want? Now you can as you can learn to make them yourself!
Suitable for beginners, learn how to make your own Lampwork glass beads using the basic techniques and how to adapt these for different beads.The course will start at 10 a.m. and finish around 4 p.m. with a break for lunch. Lunch & light refreshments will be provided on this workshop as it is held in our workshop in Kilternan (included in the price already!).
What will I learn?
Safe setup of gas and equipment Information about glass, it's properties and what you can and cannot mix it with Bead making preparation - what you'll need to get started Bead making (of course!), in which we'll cover a large variety of beginners techniques, such as forming a bead, pulling and applying stringer, raking, plunging and shaping a bead Kilns and annealing (hardening of the glass so it will last a lifetime)
How much will it cost?
The cost for the full day course is €250. This will include all glass, tools, use of safety equipment and lunch/light refreshments. You will get to take all beads you make away with you. Please wear long sleeves, fitted if possible, closed in shoes and trousers, jeans are best. Long hair must be tied back. If you need assistance in getting to Kilternan, let us know in advance. As these are small workshops, numbers will be limited.

GLASS FUSING USING DICHROIC AND COLOURED GLASS Suitable for beginners. Learn how to make fused glass pendants and earrings, you will learn how to safely cut and prepare the glass. The items you make will need need to be fired in a kiln and will be available to be picked up from the shop the following day or posted to you.
The course starts at 10a.m. and will finish at 1 p.m.

How much will it cost?
The cost for the half day course is €100, this will include glass, and findings. This will include all glass, tools, use of safety equipment and light refreshments. Learn how to create Feather fascinators with little or no previous experience. You will create and keep feather fascinator using our milliner techniques. Beginner Swarovski Crystal Tiara s Workshop – Full Day Workshop

Suitable for beginners and wire workers with some experience. Learn how to make two different styles of tiara and the basic techniques that can be adapted to make hair combs and pins using wire twisting techniques and incorporating Swarovski crystals. We teach you the techniques to make your own individual designs to take away with you. The workshop begins at 10.30 a.m. and finishes at 5.30 p.m. with 1 hour for lunch.

Tiara Level II – Full Day Workshop
Learn how to make beautiful bespoke tiaras with wire, crystals, components and beads. This class teaches you how to make a tiara band, make tree tiaras and make component tiaras. The workshop begins at 10.30 a.m. and finishes at 5.30 p.m. with an hour lunch break.

Tiara Styles: During the workshop you will make two very different style tiaras, using silver and gold plated wire, crystals, components and beads. For this workshop we would recommend that you attend the level 1 workshop first. Learn to make bespoke bands, tiaras and what shapes and styles suit each individual customer. Learn to make a bespoke tiara band and Some of the designs need strength in your hands in order to be able to twist and wrap the wire. Please take this into consideration and feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Learn how to create beautiful jewellery with little or no previous experience. You will create and keep a pair of earrings, a bracelet and necklace using threading and crimping techniques. 'Ring Making' workshop – Level One – Full Day Workshop

Learn how to make stunning rings with wire, crystals and beads. Each ring is individual and you can be as delicate or as bling as you choose! The workshop begins at 10.30 a.m. and finishes at 3.30 p.m. with an hour lunch break.
What will I learn?
1. What tools are required and how to use them safely.
2. Wire and materials needed
3. Step-by-step techniques to make your very own ring designs to take home with you.
During the workshop you will make several different style rings, using silver coated wire, buttons and beads. We teach all the fundamentals for making wire rings and this course is an excellent introduction to ringmaking. While we state that 'no experience is necessary' for this workshop, some of the designs need strength in your hands in order to be able to twist and wrap the wire. Please take this into consideration and feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
How much will it cost?

Learn how to make stunning rings with wire, crystals and beads. Each dress ring is individual and you can be as delicate or as bling as you choose!! The workshop begins at 10.30 a.m. and finishes at 3.30 p.m. with an hour lunch break.

Ring styles:
Learn to make a charm ring, manoeuvre wire to make a Celtic style wire wrap ring, how to wire wrap stones with no holes, wire sculpture ring, charm ring and make two styles of beaded rings (all different to the styles taught on the level one workshop)
During the workshop you will make several different style rings, using silver coated wire, crystals and beads. While we state that 'no experience is necessary' for this workshop we would recommend that you attend the level 1 workshop first. Also some of the designs need strength in your hands in order to be able to twist and wrap the wire. Please take this into consideration and feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Tiara Level II – Full Day Workshop

Learn how to make beautiful bespoke tiaras with wire, crystals, components and beads. This class teaches you how to make a tiara band, make tree tiaras and make component tiaras. The workshop begins at 10.30 a.m. and finishes at 5.30 p.m. with an hour lunch break.

3. Step-by-step techniques to make your very own ring designs to take home with you.
Tiara Styles: During the workshop you will make two very different style tiaras, using silver and gold plated wire, crystals, components and beads. For this workshop we would recommend that you attend the level 1 workshop first. Learn to make bespoke bands, tiaras and what shapes and styles suit each individual customer. Learn to make a bespoke tiara band and Some of the designs need strength in your hands in order to be able to twist and wrap the wire. Learn how to create stunning advanced level wire jewellery using wire and tools - some wire making experience is desirable for this course. You will create and keep a bracelet and necklace using wire manupulation and sculpting techniques. Learn step-by-step how to design and make your jewellery, discover what tools and materials are required and the techniques for finishing off your jewellery. We provide a wide selection of beads, buttons and wire to use for this design. The workshop begins at 10.30 a.m. and finishes at 4.30 p.m. with a 1 hour lunch break.

Learn some of our most popular jewellery making techniques through our evening classes. These three hour workshops are held in our premises from 6.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. on Wednesday evenings.
