PRECIOUS METAL CLAY AND GLASS PENDANT/BEAD MAKING WORKSHOPS!
PRECIOUS METAL CLAY JEWELLERY
Suitable for beginners!  Learn how to sculpt and create jewellery using precious metal clay.  We show you how to make a precious metal clay earrings and pendants using various clay sculpting, baking the earrings and pendants with a torch and the finishing touches.

How much will it cost?
The Introduction to precious metal clay jewellery is just €130 for our full day workshop and includes all materials such as clay, precious metal clay coating and equipment and much more. Use of tools and equipment and light refreshments are also included! As this workshop runs in Kilternan we would recommend that you bring a packed lunch with you or you can utilise our highly recommended lunch service at a cost of €10 per person.

 INTERMEDIATE PRECIOUS METAL CLAY JEWELLERY
Suitable for those who have worked with PMC and want to take their skill to the next level!  Learn how to sculpt and create jewellery using precious metal clay.  We show you how to make a precious metal clay rings and beads using various clay sculpting, baking in a kiln and the finishing touches.
What will I learn?
1. What tools are required and how to use them safely.
2. Clay and equipment required to make precious metal clay jewellery
3. Various techniques to make PMC rings and beads
4. How to bake and finish your jewellery
How much will it cost?
The intermediate precious metal clay jewellery is just €120 for our full day workshop and includes all materials such as clay, tools and equipment and much more. Light refreshments are also included! As this workshop runs in Kilternan we would recommend that you bring a packed lunch with you or you can utilise our highly recommended lunch service at a cost of €10 per person.

Handmade Lamp work Glass Beads

Have you ever wanted that special bead that you just couldn't find? Maybe to match it to an outfit or just have beads that are totally unique and exactly what you want? Now you can as you can learn to make them yourself!

Suitable for beginners, learn how to make your own Lamp work glass beads using the basic techniques and how to adapt these for different beads. The course will start at 10 a.m. and finish around 4 p.m. with a break for lunch. Lunch & light refreshments will be provided on this workshop as it is held in our workshop in Kilternan (included in the price already!).
What will I learn?
·         Safe setup of gas and equipment
·         Information about glass, it's properties and what you can and cannot mix it with
·         Bead making preparation - what you'll need to get started
·         Bead making (of course!), in which we'll cover a large variety of beginners techniques, such as forming a bead, pulling and applying stringer, raking, plunging and shaping a bead 
·         Kilns and annealing (hardening of the glass so it will last a lifetime)
How much will it cost?
The cost for the full day course is €200. This will include all glass, tools, use of safety equipment and light refreshments.  You will get to take all beads you make away with you. Please wear long sleeves, fitted if possible, closed in shoes and trousers, jeans are best. Long hair must be tied back. If you need assistance in getting to Kilternan, let us know in advance.  As these are small workshops, numbers will be limited. As this workshop runs in Kilternan we would recommend that you bring a packed lunch with you or you can utilise our highly recommended lunch service at a cost of €10 per person

Glass Fusing Using Dichroic and Coloured Glass  
Suitable for beginners. Learn how to make fused glass pendants and earrings, you will learn how to safely cut and prepare the glass. The items you make will need to be fired in a kiln and will be available to be picked up from the shop the following day or posted to you. The course starts at 10a.m. and will finish at 1 p.m.
What will I Learn?
·         What tools are required and how to use them safely.
·         Cutting and mixing different types of glass.
·         Step by step techniques to make a Dichroic glass pendant & Dichroic glass earrings
How much will it cost?
The cost for the half day course is €100; this will include glass, and findings.  This will include all glass, tools, use of safety equipment and light refreshments.  You will get to take pendant and earrings you make away with you. Please wear long sleeves, fitted if possible, closed in shoes and trousers, jeans are best. Long hair must be tied back. If you need assistance in getting to Kilternan, let us know in advance.  As these are small workshops, places are limited.  As this workshop runs in Kilternan we would recommend that you bring a packed lunch with you or you can utilise our highly recommended lunch service at a cost of €10 per person
