'Ring Making' workshop – Level One – Full Day Workshop

Learn how to make stunning rings with wire, crystals and beads. Each ring is individual and you can be as delicate or as Bling as you choose! The workshop begins at 10.00 a.m. and finishes at 3.00 p.m. with a 45 Minute Lunch break.

What will I learn?

1. What tools are required and how to use them safely.
2. Wire and materials needed
3. Step-by-step techniques to make your very own ring designs to take home with you.

During the workshop you will make several different style rings, using silver coated wire, buttons and beads.  We teach all the fundamentals for making wire rings and this course is an excellent introduction to ring making. While we state that 'no experience is necessary' for this workshop, some of the designs need strength in your hands in order to be able to twist and wrap the wire
. Please take this into consideration and feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

How much will it cost?
The 1 day Ring Making Workshop is €75 and includes materials (Swarovski crystals, buttons, beads and semi-precious gems), use of tools and light refreshments.   You are also welcome to bring your own beads to use at this workshop.   Times: 10.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.

Ring Making Workshop - Level 2 - Full Day Workshop!

Ring styles:

Learn to make a charm ring, manoeuvre wire to make a Celtic style wire wrap ring, how to wire wrap stones with no holes, wire sculpture ring, charm ring and make two styles of beaded rings (all different to the styles taught on the level one workshop)

During the workshop you will make several different style rings, using silver coated wire, crystals and beads. Learn step-by-step how to design your matching jewellery set, discover what tools and materials are required and the techniques for finishing off your jewellery. We provide a wide selection of quality glass and wooden beads. Come along and make your own individual jewellery designs to take away with you. The workshop begins at 10.00 a.m. and finishes at 3.00 p.m. with a 45 minute lunch break (but this workshop sometimes runs over this time).

Beginner Swarovski Crystal Tiara & Fascinator Workshop – Full Day Workshop

Suitable for beginners and wire workers with some experience. Learn how to make two different styles of tiara and the basic techniques that can be adapted to make hair combs and pins using wire twisting techniques and incorporating Swarovski crystals. We teach you the techniques to make your own individual designs to take away with you. The workshop begins at 10.00 a.m. and finishes at 5.00 p.m. with 45 minute lunch break.

3. Step-by-step techniques to make:

  • Alice band style tiara
  • Fascinator style hair jewellery

How much will it cost?
This workshop costs just €130 and includes wire, tiara bands, glass beads and a €20 voucher to spend on Swarovski crystal. Crystals and gemstones over and above this value are charged as extras at their usual retail price. Use of tools and light refreshments are included in the price.

Tiara Level II – Full Day Workshop

Learn how to make beautiful bespoke tiaras with wire, crystals, components and beads. This class teaches you how to make a tiara band, make tree tiaras and make component tiaras. The workshop begins at 10.00 a.m. and finishes at 4.00 p.m. (but this class can run over) with a 45 minute lunch break.

3. Step-by-step techniques to make your very own ring designs to take home with you.

Tiara Styles:  During the workshop you will make two very different style tiaras, using silver and gold plated wire, crystals, components and beads.  For this workshop we would recommend that you attend the level 1 workshop first.  Learn to make bespoke bands, tiaras and what shapes and styles suit each individual customer.  Learn to make a bespoke tiara band and some of the designs need strength in your hands in order to be able to twist and wrap the wire. Learn how to create fabulous and funky combs and clips using wire and tools with little or no previous experience. You will create and keep a number of clips and combs using wire twisting techniques and we show you how we make our famous Riverdance combs! Learn step-by-step how to design and create your combs and clips, discover what tools and materials are required and the techniques for finishing off your jewellery. We provide a wide selection of crystal and pearl to use for this design.
