NEW! BIAS CUT SINAMAY HAT WITH STRAW CROWN!
Learn how to create a beautiful bias cut sinamay hat with straw crown - you can use normal or window sinamay for this technique with little or no previous experience. Learn how to use various millinery tools such as blocks, techniques such as constructing, stitching, blocking, wiring, sizing, stiffening and how to finish a felt hat - as each material reacts differently to the blocking and construction techniques this is a new skill for you to learn. This brim is not blocked in the traditional fashion and we teach you the only way to block window sinamay by joining 'sheet' sinamay into bias strips (prior to blocking), to create a deep sculptured brim that is usually difficult to achieve in this fabric. We will also block a smooth parasisal straw crown and then finish with sinamay trimmings!

Beginner Swarovski Crystal Tiara & Fascinator Workshop – Full Day Workshop
Suitable for beginners and wire workers with some experience. Learn how to make two different styles of tiara and the basic techniques that can be adapted to make hair combs and pins using wire twisting techniques and incorporating Swarovski crystals. We teach you the techniques to make your own individual designs to take away with you. The workshop begins at 10.30 a.m. and finishes at 5.30 p.m. with 1 hour for lunch.
